Growing closer to God

Hey everyone, happy Friday!

Lately, I’ve been watching a lot of Christian based videos. Everytime I watch one, it feels  like God is telling me to read my document that has 20 some bible verses in it.

I used to read them everyday, but then I stopped: because I kept getting distracted.

When I read them on Wednesday night: I felt more at peace knowing that: if I’d continued reading the Bible verses, I would be prepared for anything.

The next morning, I read the daily Bible verse, and let me tell you: that verse was spot on. I’m going to share it with you, and maybe it’ll speak to you the same way it did to me.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7 ESV

I was in the car listening to K-love, when my song “You Never Let go” came on. By the time the song was almost over, I had tears in my eyes; to be honest I’m not really sure why.

Then on top of that I was reading Beautybeyondbones.com post “Footprints,” and man that Footprints prayer really spoke to me. On a side note, if you haven’t checked out her blog: you definitely should, because she has content!

If you haven’t made time to connect with God, you definitely should because it’ll most likely change the outcome of your day. After all, when I did: I was overwhelmed with peacefulness.

Have a great weekend. Stay positive, spread the gospel, and try to make time for God.

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him—  my father’s God, and I will exalt him! – Exodus 15:2
